Does anyone have a proven method of improving the support for the Stelvio windscreen in its uppermost setting?

Some instructions would be very helpful if so.

Thanks!

I saw on a german website that they have used spring washers and also rubber washers to remove the play in the joints. There are several 8mm axles around which the screen rotates up and down. The hinges do have plenty of play. I tried the 8m spring washers and it is better.

They also mentioned that MG have put out a workaround for the dealers. I have not checked with "my" dealer as I have just lost our local MG franchise apparently due to pay issue on Piaggio's behalf. Next dealer now is 35 miles away.
