• Ciao Guest, The owner of this website and GTMotoCycles.com lost his home completely on the morning of January 8th in the L.A. Wildfire Storm. Most of his neighborhood is gone, and a few friends were killed along with their pets. The GTM SHOP and STORE are functioning normally, but we DEMAND EXTREME PATIENCE on orders as we are a SMALL business and Todd usually has his hands on nearly every order before it goes out. You can find more info on a post named L.A. Wildfires in the USA section. Our heart and best go out to everyone in this horrific disaster.

V100 Diag Tool Info

Apparently you don't understand that the functions are different for all manufacturers. The functions are also all different. You can't give instructions on how everything works with the functions for all 72 manufacturers…

What an unbelievable message to you GTM from these people! OMG.

So let review the facts shall we.

These assholes, created this tool.

They had to write the code for all 72 manufacturers for each and every command that access the ECU or other parts of the motorcycle, one at a time.

Certainly these menu selections didn’t write themselves or appeared out of thin air. (Maybe they actually pulled them out of their ass, but this hypothesis is highly suspect and would be incredibly difficult as already there was obviously little to no room up there given how full of shit they are coupled with their heads shoved up there that far!)

So…While writing this code, it never ever occurred to them that they should write a documentation blurb about what the code, that they just wrote, actually does. :banghead:

Honestly, they most likely farmed out their programming to China, and those guys couldn’t write the documentation either.

Well, Romanian or German, it makes no difference which country is the actual parent company of Duonix, they are without a doubt, the stupidest sons of bitches who have ever tried to create a computer tool.

I mean come on, just how clueless can you be. :finger:

Oh and if it is such a “Professional” tool, why the hell can you buy it from every Tom who’s Dick is Harry, all over the fricking internet? They will sell it to anybody with a credit card regardless of their skill set. As I said before, this is their make a fast buck business model.

I’m sure Todd is just like me; I bought all my professional computer system tools from professional companies that catered specifically to the trade, unless, as was once the case with TechnoResearch, they created end user versions of their software, and provided outstanding human technical support via telephone. Sandro was fantastic at that every single time I called him.

What a bunch of Bozo’s these clowns are… :fubar:

Well my fellow GuzziTech Guzzisti…

Don’t fret. Like I said, as soon as I get back, we will figure it out. Torpedos be damned, full speed ahead. ;)

I've had to call Sandro a couple times. He clued me in on what the software would be looking for to set the TPS on a 15RC ECU since it wasn't looking for tps, but Alfalin_0. After hooking up to an v11 sport that had a map from an infamous guy in Australia, I had an issue with my Techno research software. Even though Techno Research had stopped selling the software, I received excellent tech support to get my system back up and running.

I think there is a strong possibility that the tool will not do what they say it will do. They can't/won't give any instructions because there aren't any, especially for a function that their crap will not perform.
There's a special place waiting for people like this and they aren't going to like it. It may be bankruptcy, prison or it may be hell.

< shaking my head > You are right in dumping them, Todd👍. Sad.

I have the tool as well but haven't had to use it yet, just verified it communicated with the bike. Looking forward to detailed instructions when available especially to those of us that support the site with our purchases! Thank you.
I was able to reset the service and make the wrench icon disappear after trying multiple sequences. First, you need to reset the service then switch to the motorcycle display icon and go through some sequences. Unfortunately I did not write everything down. I will try and draw up some notes.

Has anyone yet figured out what this tool can actually do besides getting rid of the service wrench?

I reached out to duonix customer service through their chat function on their website. They wrote saying they are working on an update for the Mandello that will likely be available end of year.

Take it with a grain of salt if what I was told is true. I want to be optimistic as I have this expensive hardware that is a paperweight at the moment.

Cheers-

I really just want something that can read codes, clear codes, do the TPS reset and reset the service icon.
