V100 Registry and Pic Thread

Hello all. Glad to be on the forum and looking to find current info and provide feedback info regarding this magnificent machine.
Mine is VIN ZGUMGUA18PM000050

If anyone is in the Nashville TN area, I would enjoy meeting up, riding and talking about this wonderful new machine from MG

Just finished our annual Sierra passes ride through the Sierras - great time to make the visit, great weather, few cars, beautiful scenery and wonderful twisty roads. Four days, 1000 miles with Twain Harte, CA as home base. 4 Sierra passes (Sonoma, Tioga, Ebbetts & Carson) along with a cruise through Yosemite and run through the "Little Dragon"! The V100 was great....FB_IMG_1694447175034.webp20230908_154847.webpFB_IMG_1694447160286.webp

My old bike (BMW Nine T) and the new V100 Mandello. Feeling a bit guilty as the Nine T has been such a good bike, but just doesn't stand up to the V100.

No issues except over the weekend the handlebar control has gone faulty controlling the screen scrolling function and I ended up having to turn the bike off to swich off the heated grips and heated seat off, which were very hot indeed....
Also installed by me, are MG spot lights, front USB, Taller screen (I have taken it off for summer - the same with the MG rack), Center stand, Hand protectors, trackers, and I am sure I have missed a something else... (Found it - long fender extender..)
MG top box on the way.
Handles OK with a reasonable load on her.
Changed oil last night, all clean on the sump magnet but oil seemed pretty thin.
Fitting Sump guard today, although I have been using a home made on since I got her - see the second picture.
Top box on the way.

Her name is Lilah.

Earlier picture with rack and shows my 4mm thick high temp rubber mud guard.

5985 miles now, no issues since. Off the road now due to my recovery from invasive surgery or she would be out every weekend whatever the weather. Back on the road in March 24 though (It's very difficult having to resist riding her...)

Just got back from the Picos in Northern Spain via the Plymouth-Santander ferry.
Over to Pamplona and back along the coast.
No issues whatsoever with the bike, perfect, just perfect.
Slightly tingling and stiffness in right wrist but nothing major.
Couldn’t get the MIA to work as a navigational device via my iPhone but that’s down to me being a Philistine when it comes to technology.
I love the bike, used as a plodding tourer.
Italy, the Dolomites and Mandello next year once the Alpine passes are open!

I haven't posted here in awhile, since I traded my Audace for a Triumph Bonneville a couple of years ago. I still check in from time to time though. I was interested in the V100s when word of them started leaking out. The existing colors didn't appeal to me too much. I walked into the dealership to inquire about something about my Triumph, then I saw the Navale on the floor. That was the beginning of the end. I really love this bike, the handling is amazing. I may have to put bar risers on it though, I am elderly and my lower arms hurt after awhile. Maybe I will acclimate with time, maybe not, if not I will install some risers. The only issue was I couldn't put it in neutral from 1st or 2nd when stopped. The problem went away after about 120 miles with some riding that required frequent shifting. I am loving this bike and will even more after I get my bags.

Hello, this week I bought my first Moto Guzzi after 34 years of driving lots of bikes. I love it as the perfect blend between BMW and Ducati with its Italian design.
VIN ZGUMGA002PM000519 bought 25th October 2023
I am already working on customizing as I do on every of my several bikes, I will increase seat height, replace the windshield, awful hydraulic pots, bar end mirrors, paint the grey part of the panniers and some other tweaks.
I am based in Barcelona (Spain) where it seems the V100 is not getting good sales but I do not mind, after owning several BMW including 1200GS LC and many others like KTM 1190 Adventure, Ducati Multistrada 1100S and 1200S DVT I can tell is a superb bike!

A friend wrecked one 2 mo old, 2500mi & was totaled. Talking to a BMW riding friend in Northern WI, his son-in law bought a V100 bike at auction $3900. He's been riding it. Trying to save it. It is the same bike.
That would have been a good GTM starter.

Thanks Steve. There was that one, and one in AZ I missed for considerably more $. Had I secured one, that’s my plan. I’ll be keeping my eye out for one. Can you have the owner check in here?
