V7 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

Very Nice - congrats -

Are there any Intro to Riding courses in CA ?
Yes indeed there is! I taught it for over 11 years and it is the best thing you can do as a new or intermediate rider.

California Motorcycle Safety Program

motorcyclesafetyca.com/faq/

You take the beginning rider course and then 1 year later, return for the experienced rider course.

After you do that, I highly recommend Keith Code and his California Superbike School. I went all the way through Level IV and it was truly amazing.

Keith Code knows his stuff cold!

Finally got the rear sets and clip ons installed after GT Moto hooked me up with the unobtainium Guzzi clip on accessory kit.

2021 Centenario VIN ZGUKZUA09MM000238.

The only Moto Guzzi I tangled with before was my brother’s California II Velorex 520 sidecar rig. They are special for sure.

Very Nice !
now all it needs is one of Todd’s exhaust !
to complete the look and sound of a café racer :emo:

I really thought I added my V7II to this list a long time ago but I guess not, whoops! Just sold her to a very nice young man near Nashville in order to make my V85TT happen, she was an absolutely fantastic machine and as reliable as the sunrise for nearly 20,000 miles, she will be missed dearly, but the only constant is change, right?

2016 V7II Stone, VIN ZGULWUB05GM200484, purchased new by me in fall of 2016 from Cadre Cycle in Cincinnati

Here's mine. It has been treated by Todd with all the good mods. Mostly the big bore kit. I tried the later 850cc and it is not the same animal. This bike is fun and peppy while the new one feels dull. It has the perfect performance/fun ratio. It is the kind of bike that will let you use 100% of its power, and get away with it. This is a great feeling. Way better than using 25% of a superbike. Faster than a Sportster 1200, louder, better looking, out-brake it every time. And thumbs up at each and every use.

GTM 820 Big bore kit
Front suspension work (Matris Spring kit with adjusters )
Rear suspension work (GTM 2WS with adjusters)
GTM stainless full system

From a recent ride to the south coast for a photorally point in Wexford.

Cosmetic updates

Thanks to Subin/Sonny for the deal.
They needed a bit of “Finessing”
- use of a step drill to enlarge the holes to fit the rubber grommets that were in the plastic covers
- dressing of the threads for one bolt hole
- Ottawa powder coats excellent match
They look identical to the spark plug covers I left with them.

and the 100 Anniversary badges.
