I'm looking for a touring windshield for my new V7C that compliments the design of the bike. The Breva windshield mounts up nicely, but looks a bit too contemporary for what I'd like.

Something with a bit of retro style but effective for long trips and bad weather. Easily removable would be a bonus. I have a couple of options in mind, but I'd appreciate suggestions.

Thanks,

How about this. I have a National Cycle DX.

Great minds must think alike. I'm using that same windshield right now, which I transferred from my Scrambler. It does a good job of relieving wind pressure on the highway, but I'm looking for something with more weather protection for the cold and the wet.

The DX is a great windshield that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for warmer weather though. Thanks.

Something like this, maybe?

(It's a Breva equipped for municipal Italian police forces, and AFAK the fairing is not available to us ordinary mortals)

I really don't think you should mount anything bigger, rather something smaller, than the OEM touring screen, as they attach to the fork. It's quite strong forces applied on a screen when driving, and heavy winds will affect steering.
At least you shall be aware of it!

(Pexi, who's doing god knows what nowadays, wrote this back in '06, after riding a Breva equipped wit a screen, from Monaco to Finland: http://pexi.mediterrum.com/guzzi_breva_ ... winds.html )

When I had the DX on my demised 06 Black is beautiful Bonnie, I used it for all seasons. It kept the wind off my chest and the face shield on my Nolan N102 clear. I have a large Memphis shade on my Sportster and I am always fighting wind buffering. I am use to the DX and I like a small shield, plus I always ride with a full face helmet.

Maybe give the Nat Cycles F15 Touring screen a look? I had a DX on the T3 and the F15 is better in my experience. Sorry, no photo available

Thanks, Colin, that one is at the top of my list. I'm looking for something to protect my hands as well as torso in the cold fall and early spring weather. It's probably the route I'll go.
