Update(!); https://www.motoguzzi.com/it_IT/v850x/ -- Piaggio’s opening of a web page and submission of the logo suggests that the V850X will be released in the New Year.
Piaggio filed a trademark application on Sept. 23 with Italy’s Patent and Trademark Office for the V850X logo below. Moto Guzzi has a page set up on its official website for the V850X (linked above) The page is incomplete, with a placeholder photo of the V100 Mandello.
The frame is described as having an enhanced steering head. However, the V850X has a longer swingarm and more efficient Kayaba shock absorbers, as well as Michelin Anakee II tires.
Claimed weight is 213 kg (470 lbs), which is ~10 lbs lighter than the claimed weight of the V7 III Stone & Special. The site also confirms that the V850X will have two color options, Sunshine Yellow and Twilight Gray.
