V85TT Registry and pic thread

Hi Deadeye

Thanks! The New Forest was new in about 1080 AD!!
It' a pleasant area to ride, apart from a 40mph limit and wild ponies and pigs roaming across the roads!!

Cheers Martin

Everything is so dry and brown, it's hard to believe this is England in August.

My first Moto Guzzi - The 2020 V85TT Adventure, VIN #ZGUKWU009LM000376, purchased used in June 2022 with 3370 miles and lots of extras already installed...plus cat delete pipe new in box, which I recently installed. Unfortunately, thus far it has sat in the shop for more time than it's been ridden! Hoping this changes soon once the bugs are worked out.

Read of my "initiation" into the club, repairs, modifications and ongoing adventures in my posts.

Remember - Keep the rubber side down!

I didnt notice that change until looking at the photo again ( and Again )
- With the Caponard fender in place you *could* remove that Beak ...
( That is a design Element I have Little Love for and one of the things I like about the Motard Look ! the Low mount fender ? )

I too dislike “the beak” on the V85. Never cared for them on the BMW GS’s either.

This is one of the things I love about my Stelvio NTX. There is no “beak”.

I really can't understand how itcame to be the Norm - did some Whaky designer come up with it and *Nearly* everyone else started Adding it to their bikes for some reason ?

It does ZERO for keeping anything from coating the engine and doesn't do a heck of a lot for the Rider either ?
At least a Fender ( not really the right term is it - like Car Fender ? ) if it covers the wheel enough catches Most of what comes off the tire !

I really like the V85 !
- But the picture our Friend took from that angle makes it look like the Beak from those Spy vs. Spy guys
( Nothing personal )
