V9 Opinions

It is accurate and realistic.
On average I get about 20km/liter, on average, measured at the pump, with "don't care about fuel" driving mode.
Reserve usually hits at ~200km range for me. It is apparently precise as a clock, no matter what kind of road I roam.
It should be 300km range total if the 15 liter figure is correct.

If you put yourself in eco-mode on straights / highways you can do surely better.

BabisStinson...That is a loaded question. Many factors are dependent upon gas mileage. Traffic, Altitude, speed.....I am getting around 270 Km with mixed traffic(more city) and speed. I think this will improve as I get more miles on the bike.

Was not sure if I should start a new thread or just add to this one.

I currently own a V7II Stone, but the more I visit my Guzzi dealer the more I am drawn to the V9 Roamer. The smaller tank does not bother me especially for the type of riding I do which is mainly cruising some of the backroads in my area of SW Ohio. I had the chance to test ride one and overall I liked it except for the peg position which I know can be moved back

I guess my main question is has anybody moved from the V7 to the V9? Do you regret your choice or should I just avoid my dealer for a while?

I would not mind taking advantage of the price drop on the 2017 model. When I emailed Guzzi for a copy of the owners manual I asked about the 2018's and was told they are not yet for sale in the US and Canada.

Hi everyone, what's your mileage / range with the V9?
I see that the tank is 15 liters (reserve 4 liters)
Consumption (cycle WMTC) 4,99 l/100 km.
Is that for real, do you get ~300 km of range?

I am getting 4.1l per 100km on my work commute of steady 100-120kph on the autoroute. On the 80kph wine road alternative I have averaged 3.9l/100k

Tasdisr, do a YouTube search for "Moro Guzzi v9 vs v7" and you will find a couple good videos that might help answer your question, one review by "6tdegrees" is a good review that has a nice comparison.
