When I bought my '14 Cali Touring I was given a bag that included these items.

Can someone tell me what the 2 lead power cord would be used for? It has a 7.5 amp fuse. The bike is stock with 2 excepts: 1. heated corbin seat which isn't connected electrically and a tour/top box that is not connected electrically.

Also there is a white 2 prong plug/connector with a single wire connecting the 2 prongs. Did that come off of the bike or is it to enable a power source for heated grips or some other accessory.

Finally, I can't discern why I would have such a collection of used screws when the only added accessory was the top/tour box. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The white plastic plug with a wire loop is used if there is no alarm fitted, or you disconnect the alarm from its socket. I did. When the topcase was fitted, they would have removed the original grabrail and replaced it with an extended rack that could carry the topcase. The fittings would be those used for the original grabrail, or simply those that came with the new rack, which are now surplus. I am not familiar with the cable. Heated grips are powered from a connector at the headstock.

Thanks for the answers.

I have a new question. Under the seat on the left side directly in front of the battery compartment is a black electrical connector with 2 wires in it. Orange/green and green. The connector has a black plug in it so its not connected.

What are those wires (the connector) for?
 
It sounds like the heated seat connector. The colours are listed as orange/green and blue. Perhaps they changed the blue to green at some stage. It is connected to the frame (battery negative), so if yours does the same then I think you can assume its the heated seat connector.

You are pointing at two locations. Which plug has the correct colour codes? The other plug is probably the diagnostic connector but I can't really tell. Use the wiring diagram to confirm the plug's function.

Also, I have since learnt that some bikes came out with the green instead of the blue on the heated seat connector,
 
I have been busy - attached is a picture of the connection and wires I was referring to. On the left is the rear of the airbox and the right is the battery cover. The silver hose is a hydraulic bleed hose - I assume for the clutch.

In the first picture I posted on this thread there is wiring with a fuse and plug - I found some notes that indicate that wire is to hook up the heated Corbin seat. I don't know why they sent that wiring harness when the bike apparently already is wired for heated seats.

I have a 18 Eldorado and that plug was used to connect the factory accessory USB kit.

I think that is for the optional USB charging port...
