• NOTICE: The owner of this website and GTMotoCycles.com completely lost his home on the morning of January 8th in the L.A. Wildfire Storm. Most of his neighborhood is gone, and a few friends were killed along with their pets. The GTM SHOP and STORE are functioning normally, but we DEMAND EXTREME PATIENCE on orders as we are a SMALL business and Todd usually has his hands on nearly every order before it goes out. You can find more info on a post named L.A. Wildfires in the USA section. Our heart and best go out to everyone effected in this horrific disaster.

Hello! So out for a run on my 2019 V7iii today and noticed this new shiny void in my engine case! It looks just like a bolt shear off.....shiny new! Well I have not messed with anything there and I do not remember anything there so can any kind brother tell me what I have lost?.....it is the bright 'rivet looking' thing in the centre of the photo.

I don't see anything out of the ordinary. If it's the same shiny spot that is vertically aligned with the gearbox drain plug then it's there from the factory

Take a deep breath. Standard machining mark, see; https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/v7-registry-picture-thread-add-your-bike.9108/post-187113

Well I had thought that I knew my bike but clearly I didn't! Thanks so much for the information....it is therefore only a machining mark. Thanks

Just an idea.

Seeing as how digital photos cost nothing to take…

Every time I buy a motorcycle, the first day, I put the bike in the bright sunlight and I take detailed photos from every possible angle just for historical reference and to be able to refer back to.

Like, if anybody needed to see photos of a brand new 2012 Stelvio NTX, I have about 110 different ones in high-resolution of every single aspect of the motorcycle including under the seats, inside the bags, all the warning stickers before I take them off, even the USER CODE, literally everything 😄.

I know, I’m a strange bird…😆

Jeez.... If it wouldn't be here looking at other V7s I wouldn't even know what original V7 looks like anymore... 🤣🤣🤣
Jokes aside, that's not being an odd duck, that's a methodical order, being thorough and organized👍
