The Veglia finally died out right after several years of being inaccurate. Should I go with an OEM Replacement and see how long the tach lasts or buy the Dakota Digital kit that is a speedo a tach and part time dish washer?

I have heard that the Tachometeres are frequent problems. They are pricey, that is why I was thinking of the upgrade. I prefer the look of the white faces as opposed to electronics though. Call me old fashioned.
Thanks for the information. I will check them out.If you want an alternative to the stockers, there is a company called Speedhut. They sell speedo's and tach"s (and combo units), primarily for cars but more than a few people have used them on Moto Guzzi's. They have even made units with the Guzzi logo printed on the face.

They offer GPS speedo's as well as electric speedo's.
They offer all kinds of custom colors and options, including the aforementioned logo on the face.
If you tell them it is for a motorcycle they will do extra sealing for water resistance.
They seem like good folk.
