Contacted Rene in Paris and we were able to enjoy lunch together. Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant time.
In keeping with his avatar... here he is.

Note the cool Guzzi shirt.

We had lunch at a restaurant named "Auto Passion" which was decorated with automotive memorabilia.

The Restroom was most interesting.

Especially helpful if you feel err...."distressed".

Even the hand drier was ..."different".

You may notice the muscle Mustang in the background of the first two images.
The food was outstanding, and my wife, Rene, and myself, had a grand time.
Many thanks Rene. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Hey, look at that... you meet the strangest people... ;)

That looks like a fun place to visit. I'll have to meet him there on my trip in, hopefully within the next year or less.

After Paris, try Corsica. You can rent a bike or scooter there and have a ball. It's like Topanga on steroids :woohoo:
Ride (cage) report to come in a few days.
Also consider the Tarn. A different and beautiful part of France.

Ain't that the truth, I wonder what the other side of his face looks like. Maybe the other half is a Harley rider.... and doesn't want us to know the truth ;)

Travel is so much fun - and bikers are the same everywhere IME, nice one!

I look kind of ghostish in that picture ... or did the picture get lost during the forum facelift? ;)

It was a pleasure meeting you and your wife, Brian

Say, Brian, I seem to recall you took more pictures, at least one of us together. Unfit to post here? :silly:

(I'm looking kinda ... vague in that avatar photo ... and I'm sure I didn't even finish my beer yet when it was taken!)

Looks a great place to visit...plenty of 'motor porn'..

Bit worried about the bottle of moisturizer on the table though.....

A lovely shot of Rene and self.

A couple of handsome studs.

But we look like we've been fasting for ages! Someone put the pic back, please?

Brian, yes, frustrating... worse yet is that they are all still on the server, they just lost the path on the merger.

Oh well grasshopper. In the bigger scheme of life...Are we not all a little lost from time to time? Are not all of us feeling a little faded in the image department? Is my martini glass half full? Or half empty. Must be time for a refill. :)
