V7 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

First time rider/owner. About a month into this journey and have been loving it!

IMG 8703

2017 Guzzi V7 III Stone.

Lucked out, the dealer nearby still had NEW 2017's on the floor they were anxious to get rid of.

So far I've added:
- Baak Aluminum Side Panels

- K Town Rear Fender Delete/Tidy

- Rizoma Spy 3.2" Mirrors

- Moto Guzzi OEM Black Headlight Trim Ring

- Moto Guzzi OEM Engine Guards

- Denali M7 LED Headlight (Pic taken before this was installed)

- Blacked out the chrome Eagles on the tank with Plastidip, super simple

- GTM V7 GP Megs in black are on order!

Image I hope this isn't double dipping, four months after "getting" this for my 70th birthday I have spent all available funds and am done for now. When I wear out the tyres I plan to fit radials and powder coat the wheels and valve covers. Here is a list of the changes so far:
Solo seat
Narrowed bars
Oberon bar end mirrors
Givi crash bars
Mega recut windscreen
Temp reading dipstick
Factory center stand
Vinyl graphics
Removed turn signal spacers
Aluminum injector covers
Long Mistral mufflers
ECU reflash
And for those who are sitting on the fence about the ECU reflash, as someone who has spent a small fortune racing a Guzzi at Bonneville (I quit counting at $20K) I am here to tell you that this is a bargain, Todd has done some amazing work and you'll know it the first time you hit the rev limiter, wee!

Looking good. Tell us more about the windscreen. Looks like a Dart Piranha?
You should be able to edit your post now.

Mr. Pepperoni, tell me more about the Narrowed bars bars please. What did ya do? How did ya do it. How has it affected handling? I like my bike and my women to be slim and trim....;)

I've done this with all my bikes, first loosen the switchgear and hand controls and slide them in as far as they will go, then chop off the excess. You will have to drill a new hole for the throttle locating pin on the right handlebar. You can also see where I chomped off the locating tang on the master cyl so that I could rotate the control forward for comfort. I too, find smaller bikes and women way more maneuverable.

MG Cycle has them, I like the white face ones. If you are in Europe, I bet Stein Dense has them as well.
Just careful with those things for these two reasons, that maybe you already know, but others may not:
1. You’ll be in panic mode every time you look at it.
2. The dipstick will break off at some point and drop into the pan.

Thank you Mr Pepperoni, I found it. ;)

Indeed not very convenient :tmi: , and thanks for the warning Todd. :whew:

And Merry Christmas to all.

IMG 0346 Fullsizeoutput 140 IMG 0333 While I do not want to contradict the Jedi Master, my results have differed. I do agree that you will see some hot temps in the summer [part of the reason that I did the reflash]. I have used temp reading dipsticks since '81 and not suffered a failure, my last one went through a catastrophic 143mph wrist pin failure that pretty much split the motor in two, the only thing holding it together is the banana'ed camshaft. A lot of stuff did end up in the pan though, pretty much everything but the dipstick!

Sorry...
This is this one : amazon.fr/gp/product/B0711J7C8Z/

amazon.com/Motorcycle-Metal-Grill-Cover-Headlight/dp/B0711J7C8Z/

But not really made for the V7, need to make an oblong hole in the retaining ring.
The quality is good.

Took a ride out and about in Temecula today, these pics are from our local airport, which is about 5 minutes away from my house.
