The sticker under the seat... Is my feeler gauge wrong?
Ps I've done this on my other 2 valve 850 and 1100's and know they make noise. 😎 I set this V7 850 at 6mm and 8mm as shown previously and yes they make some noise. Thanks.
Since it rained today and I received the GTM SAS Kit, I went ahead and installed it. Super easy, I removed all 3 hoses and left the Secondary Air Valve in the stock location. It fired up smoothly and ran much better, no popping at all and it helped with the stumble around 3k rpm. I pulled the Db...
Another question, does the ECU controlled Bosch valve open so the intake can then draw the fumes into the intake from the canister through that line and open valve for reburn? (my line is now plugged going to the intake) and if the top Bosch line is left open will gas vapors from the canister be...
When doing my valve adjustment I found my lift for my other bikes and thought what the heck...
I flipped the lifting mechanism and adjusted it and it worked perfectly. 😎 I hope this helps anyone needing to rotate their rear wheel when adjusting their valves.
After my service this morning she did the Ton + 10. 😎 Super easy to do, oil, check air filter and box (dry) and valves to .006/.008.
One question, is there a way to check the transmission and final drive levels and how often are you all changing those fluids? The books says something 30K...
I did .006 int. and .008 exh. this morning and she runs great. Super tight from the factory, I could barely get a .003 in either. Also left side front plug cover bolt was stripped.
On GTM's YouTube channel, but it is on a V7III. I think they did the euro spec. When I get the SAS and UpMap... I believe Todd's map is set up for those mods as well as the tip/canister delete.
Line plugged from the intake, line left open above the purge valve and tucked away. 😎
Is there any issues with leaving an open line to a controlled device?
If you mean the intake hose (pictured) to the top of the Bosch purge valve.. no, not yet; going to get an M8 today. Ps I'm leaving the canister and hoses attached as my R nineT had a similar system that dripped when it was hot.
