I bought a set of used Agos for my V7II that the previous owner (of the Agos) had modified by cutting off about 40% of the db killers' length. They sounded as expected, louder than with full-length killers but not as loud as with the killers removed. It was, in my opinion, a good mod.
My former V7(I) and V7II Guzzis sported an H&B 45L Junior top box that I bought used. The box, and the bike (and nearly also myself) perished in a crash in 2020. I bought a V7850 as a replacement bike, but H&B no longer makes the 45L Junior top box. The 40L size is too small for my Shoei...
I agree. I put Matris fork kits and PB shocks on my previous 2015 V7II Stone and they made a world of difference. After that bike got totaled, I bought a 2021 V7 850 E5. It has much better OEM suspension that I'm living with, but I'm sure would be better with Matris parts.
Did you ever spill fuel onto that area when filling the tank? I think it's possible that exposure to fuel might weaken or start to dissolve the "fabric".

My V7E5 Stone has the same part. Its only function that I can think of is to prevent rattling of the clip against the fork shaft. It's listed in the parts book as part AP8120178, O-ring #112, which means that it's 104mm ID, 4mm thickness, and 112mm OD. You can get the part from a MG parts...
It seems to me that the two possible oil sources are the shifting gearbox and the bevel gearbox. For the V7E5, they both use the same oil, SAE 75W-140 - API GL5.
I just looked under my 2021 V7E5, and, yep, there's a hole there. On my bike, there's no buildup around the hole, it's just a neat drilling in the flat casting. There is no trace of oil or water in or around the hole. I probed it with a toothpick, and it does seem to go through the casting to...

Those turn signal spacers are only used on USA-destined V7 850 models. Must have something to do with an obscure Federal spec. I learned that when I installed an OEM windshield on my 850 Stone. The installation instructions are slightly different for the US models vs the elsewhere models.
I don't understand the premise here. The 850 Stone does have a rev counter, using markers around the speedometer dial. It's not as easy to see and use as a separate dial/pointer arrangement, but it works well enough for me.
Yes, I put an OEM windscreen on my '21 Stone. Part #2S001568. It fits well and is a good size compromise for adequate air deflection. N.B. The Special, with a different headlight, will require a different windscreen. I didn't put a handlebar riser on the '21, but my previous '16 V7 had a SW...
