Equivalent oil sensor for 1200 sport 2006 2V

I managed to mount the sender w/adaptor on my Breva 11. It was a very tight fit, but possible, bending the spade away from the alternator bolt/nut. When the new M12 sender came available, I ordered 2. They are waiting for the failure of said combo, plus a spare for the future. Pretty easy...

    Trips & Pics

For a different view of OZ, read Paul Caffyn's book "The dreamtime voyage". He circumnavigated Australia in a sea kayak (In the eighties I think). It is full of pictures from the remote parts of the coast, including areas full of "Salties" (salt water croc's). A fascinating country.

Making a Roux and steering wobble

As per John above, my Jackal's weave got sorted after checking swing arm bearings (I actually got that advice from him back then). A steering damper is a band-aid, but can be nice on an otherwise "solid" bike. Some throw it out. Mine was a friction damper and wore out over time.

Clear plastic film, self clinging, cut to shape. Mine has stayed put for 3 years now in the same area of the tank. An art supplier or graphics place. "Michaels" comes to mind (BC).

Breva 1100, 112,000 miles, Long Distance Information.

My "Parallel Twins", both bought second hand, both red '07 models, with just under 114,000 km each as we speak. I love them both dearly :inlove:. What else do I need?? I don't lust after anything else.

Jackal clicking noise when warmed up

Bear with me, this is going to take a while. Here in N.America we have a product called "Sea Foam". It is a pure petroleum product, so there is no 'Snake Oil" in it. Has been around since the '40s. A commercial fisherman told me about it. He lives on a sailboat and operates a commercial fishing...

Fuel Tank Rusted - where best to buy new.

My experience: throttle bodies: e-bay, carc drive shaft: e-bay. Lots of wreckers out there. MG classics, Torrance. Pinwall cycle, e-bay. You'll find something if you want it bad enough.

Hey everyone, a Breva 1100 owner from Idaho here

The broken piece is thin walled brass. Mine broke like yours because of my lack of knowledge. I put some sideload on it to secure the rear wheel for removal. It is a simple PCV valve (no springs) that lets the transmission exhale when it heats up.(took mine apart) It is M8X1.25. I used an Allen...

poor idle, bogs just off idle

If you are only getting air to one side, the other side hose is plugged. When the stepper motor is in the max air pos'n (cold start position) you can look right through it through the L/R air feed. It doesn't know left from right. If it is still all apart with the airbox off, check the hoses...

poor idle, bogs just off idle

My Jackal had wear in one of the throttle shafts. Closer investigation revealed a missing seal on the top of one throttle body, causing wear, and drawing in unwanted air at idle, when it has the most effect. The play in the shaft was obvious. My "parallel twins" (both with 113K km as we speak)...

    2003 EV project progress

The intakes in the airbox are staggered because the cylinders are staggered (not on forked connecting rods like HD). You may find an open ended vent hose from the gear box around the airbox. Should not connect to anything at the open end. I had a switch like yours mounted so I could turn off my...
