    Agostini Exhaust Snap ring diameter?

Any chance you have a link to the Grainger part number that you used? We do have Grainger here in Canada so that might be an option. I do have one that doesn't appear to be broken so I'm going to carefully attempt to remove it, trace it, measure it and start looking for replacements.

    Agostini Exhaust Snap ring diameter?

Really sorry here. Didn't log in for a while and realized you had asked me to get the diameter and now here I am 2 years later. Did you find out what the diameter was on them?

Battery Tenders - Yes/No and What size to get?

I would love to hear how the NOCO Lithium works out for you. Were you able to get it to fit properly into the V7 using the extra sizing plates? If this AGM battery goes on me, I would like to try the NOCO Lithium as they are available in Canada via Amazon

Battery Tenders - Yes/No and What size to get?

Interesting thread although a bit over my head from a tech standpoint. I've got a Noco Genius 2a tender and it seems to do well with my battery each season. However, this past winter I forgot to put the tender on and the battery was dead. I hooked it up to the 2A Noco and it couldn't detect a...

    V7850 dead battery

Hey Chris, just did the exact same thing with the same model of battery. Bought it new last July, has a dead cell this year. Store replaced it under warranty but I'll probably investigate lithium batteries going forward

Spark Plug Caps for 2014 V7. All NGK caps appear to have been discontinued

Hey everyone. Looking for some spark plug caps for my V7 I (2014 North American spec). A few threads on this website suggest getting the NGK XD05F caps and the NGK CPR8EA-9 plugs to go with them. The XDO5F caps are almost impossible to find online. I called NGK Canada and they told me all the...

    Check your shifter arm bolt

Usually when this part breaks, the spacer/washer usually gets lost. My experience is, unless you have this part (or something similar) it will put a lot of stress on the threaded post and this failure will occur again (and usually after a few hundred miles). The part number is 886668 for the V7...

    Agostini Exhaust Snap ring diameter?

Did you find your answer yet? if not, I'll pull the cover off my bike this weekend and can get a measurement for you. Mine are the V7 Racer mufflers but I would think the baffles and rings Agostini uses are standard sizes.

    Check your shifter arm bolt

What about the threaded shift rod that goes between these right and left hand heim joints? Mine is bent and a 3 month wait for parts from the dealer and.....it's only sold as a group, not an individual part. Do you have access to a right hand thread only rod. I'm thinking someone could order 2...

    Check your shifter arm bolt

Well, last night the the threaded portion on the heim bolt broke on a 1st to 2nd shift. I was able to get it into 1st gear and nurse the bike home at 30km/hr. It looked exactly like the picture above. Mine broke in the same spot. I did have an extra part that I installed, but I'm starting to...

minor cosmetic mods ... V7III Racer

Any thoughts on if the stock mounting hardware for the flyscreen would work on this one? I know it's only one bolt per side on the factory one, but I"m curious if the bolt position might line up for the upper one to fit the stock ones. I'm interested in one of these for my 2014 racer as the...

Bar end mirrors and sticker removal

Perfect, thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure if I had installed them incorrectly but it sounds like that is how they are supposed to be. Mine are the same as yours in that they do not move at all when I'm riding but I can move them fore and aft which does make adjustments easier. james

Bar end mirrors and sticker removal

I just got a set of mirrors from a V7 Racer 10th anniversary which , I believe, are the same as the Stone mirrors. I've got all of the right parts (according to the factory exploded parts diagram). With the mirrors installed, I can grab the mirror by the arm and move the entire mirror back and...

    MP Tool Kit info

so, has anyone fit one of these Motion Pro toolkits under the seat of a 2014 v7 racer/special/stone? I don't have any bags or extra storage space on my bike with the exception of that little spot under the seat.

    V7/9 Fuel Filter Replacement How-To

I'm reading mixed information on various forums about the correct size of the Oetiker clamps required. Some websites suggest Part number 16700011 which are 11.3mm CLOSED and 13.8mm OPEN Others are suggesting 11.3MM is the OPEN size , which then suggests it's the 9.6mm CLOSED position (Oetiker...

V7 Charging issues / Dead battery -- PLEASE READ

so I've read all 19 pages of this thread. Is there an aftermarket plug and play VR for a North American Spec 2014 V7 that I can order that doesn't require me to cut wires from the original harness or fabricate custom metal mounting plates as I'm not a very handy person. Plug and play is really...

    V7 ii basic maintenance?

Which manual are you using and is it available online for download? I've got a 2014 V7 Racer which, should be the same mechanically as your 2015 stone and I've been trying to find the factory parts and service manual for it. I've been able to find the Euro manual for my year but then it's for...

    V7iii tie down/tail pack storage

Thought I would bump this vs making a new thread. Does anyone have the Baxley Sport chock and, if so, how does it fit with the V7 100/90 - 18" wheel?

    Lifting V7 Stone III

So, do you think this rollerstand would work well with a front wheel chock? I'm thinking of a wheel chock for the front and then this rollastand for turning the wheel to adjust valves when needed? I don't have much use to buy a rear stand to lift the back of the bike up as I don't think I would...

    V7/9 Fuel Filter Replacement How-To

Are those the Oeticker clamps? If so, are they the 11.3 size? if so, do you have a part# for them by chance? Also, do you need the branded Oeticker tool to install those or will any set of pliers work? I've read conflicting stories. thanks james
