Oh, the Lario heads flow a lot more air..

    2012 V7 with 4V Heads

Two gaskets are pretty common on Lario heads.. I'll go out and measure the Lario exhaust sleeves after I hit the showers..Edit: Looks like about 1.030"

    2012 V7 with 4V Heads

Thanks for that information. Guzzi being Guzzi, though.. they use the same cam on the Lario as the V65. I degreed both during my Aero engine build. The Aero engine cam, btw, was the same duration with .021" more lift.

    2012 V7 with 4V Heads

Hiya Todd.. I'm following Mike's build, also. It doesn't look feasible for me to just bring some Lario heads out. They are far from plug and play..

    2012 V7 with 4V Heads

Good catch. Strangely enough, the exhaust gaskets I have are 1/16" smaller than the exhaust port.

Woo Hoo! I've been wondering how you were doing on that project. Just wondering. How does the Lario head match up with the V7 exhaust and intake?

    Headed back

Well... I'm glad I finally made it to Visialia. Thanks for the invite. Since we're coming back in mid December, with any luck at all.. Death Valley wouldn't have worked. I have BTDT, though. On a rented hawg of some sort.. :wasntme:

    Headed back

Had a *really* good time. :D Put 1045 miles on the Mighty Scura, made a couple of new friends. What more can you ask? Thought about doing a rain dance, but the water spirits are not to be trifled with. I'll do one the next time out if it hasn't rained...

    Ride Sunday 10/05th?

I like to do Old Topanga, too. Nice and slow to start with all the mailboxes, etc. to get back in the groove. Latigo is my current favorite, but that varies. I've only seen one deer out here, and that was on Latigo. That's one of the things I like about riding out here. Among others. ;) I took...

    Ride Sunday 10/05th?

I'm a definite maybe. Drug the Mighty Scura out of a 10 month hibernation today. (!) Changed the fluids, and didn't find the crush washer on the oil pan. (?) Figured maybe it went into the oil, strained that, didn't find it. <shrug> Gotta get one before putting oil in the engine...

SoCal Norton thing on the 31st?

I'd have to fight a *lot* of traffic to get to Pasadena for breakfast. Maybe I'll show up a little late. Can someone clue me in? What goes on? I'm not really into big group rides..
