2008 Norge starting issue

Battery, battery, battery…

Did I mention, “battery”? :mm:
Amazing how one can get two faulty batteries in a row, isn’t it?

For the record, avoid anything from Motobatt — their US office is no longer in business, so there’s no support. Everything being sold from that brand is old stock.

That’s a shame. They used to have good stuff.

COVID-19 has truly totally screwed up the worldwide vehicle parts network. No doubt about that. It’s truly amazing how fragile that system was and just how upside down everything has gotten.

So sad…

I live in FoMoCo’s backyard — every night, they fill parking lots full of F150s that are hamstrung by electronics shortages.

I'm going to start calling my Norge my Cobra Chicken! Love it!
Someone once asked why I refer to it as the Cobra Chicken.

It’s a play on the “Goose” moniker. And if you live anywhere near where Canada geese nest, poop, et endless cetera, you may have heard them referred to as cobra chickens.

(My last bike was a 1984 Honda Nighthawk S, lovingly called the Dirty Bird.)
