folks, I bought the Matris rear shocks from GTM to replace my stock ones (2017 Cal 1400 Touring). I'd like to install it myself and I was wondering if I follow the instructions in this video or similar, it should be a DIY? 
Please suggest if I need to focus on other things. Thanks.

It is relatively straightforward. I have a lift under my motor/frame only. I lifted it up enough that i could put a bottle jack under the rear wheel. Used the bottle jack to hold wheel with shocks off and move wheel up/down to align new shocks. Your setup may be different. Supporting bike and the wheel separately is the challenge. Swapping the shocks is pretty easy.
Jack it up enough so that the rear tyre is just touching the ground, I.e. the shocks are fully extended with no load on them, and then change them one at a time.

Watching that vid the shocks are held on by a bolt but the Guzzi the shocks slide onto pins/studs and the bolts just stop them sliding off. Remove the bolts top and bottom and then you will need to slide them off both pins a bit at a time otherwise they will bind on the pin if you try to remove one end at a time. Put a little grease on the pins when you fit the new ones,

folks, thanks for your tips..... I ended up getting COVID about 2 weeks ago and I had my bike at the shop for a tire change and got an offer to swap the the shocks for $95 more and I said yes...
