Griso REGISTRY & Picture Thread - ADD YOUR BIKE

Re:Griso Picture Thread

Nice! But H&B really ought to do a matched colour "insert" for the panniers (or just green plastic...)!

I think I've noticed before that the way those panniers "sit", they hide the rear turn signals. Careful about that in traffic!

Re:Griso Picture Thread

The pannier rack has a "bracing bar" with fittings to move the indicators backwards, but it exposes the wiring and looks stupid.
I left the whole bar off, no doubt some german engineer is having a coronary, but it all seems stable enough without it, and nothing is working loose through vibration.
Gotta love those crazy germans for over-engineering a pannier rack..

Re:Griso Picture Thread

Well, you'll find out how it behaves in time, but just don't forget that the driver of that car in your blind angle might not see your turn signal because the pannier is hiding it from view...

Re:Griso Picture Thread

Nice wheels but there's something wrong with your camera, the green has come out all wrong.

Re:Griso Picture Thread

Oh look, the Green Slug is back! :silly:

Re:Griso Picture Thread

slug doesn't just evoke sluggish, it's also slang for what comes out of a gun (i.e. something fast) ;)

(but I'm not aware it could refer to grass or anything plant-like :P )

Re:Griso Picture Thread

More tree frog green... ;)

Re:Griso Picture Thread

Here's my new *free* 8v provided by a blind blonde bimbo's insurers as a replacement & compensation for my written off 1100 2v.

Re:Griso Picture Thread

What's that white called again? It sure is *very* white, blends in perfectly with the background here :silly:

Luckily miss blonde bimbo didn't total your Ercole, they don't make those anymore (time to update your sig!) ;)

Re:Griso Picture Thread

OK.....in a very S-I-M-P-L-E way please explain to me again how I get photos on here.

If she'd rammed into the back of the Ercole it would have been her car written off & the Ercole with hardly a scratch.....and of course I could have slipped the gearbox into 'revenge' & rammed her back!

Re:Griso Picture Thread

The simplest way is probably a single photo per post using the board's posting form: click on the "Choose File" button next to "Select image file to attach", and then click the "[ Img ]" button to insert a tag into your post ... and submit to post. I think your image has to be no larger than 800 pixels wide.

[hide]There's also a too-simple way: sending them to Todd, but shhht, that's something he actually has to tell you in person ;) [/hide]

revenge gear, heh :woohoo:

Re:Griso Picture Thread

Maybe I've got it right this time?

Re:Griso Picture Thread

Yep!

Go get some miles on her ... she looks way too clean! ;)

Re:Griso Picture Thread

I'm working on it. Photo was 2 days ago. Now lots of little red polka dots on top and a dirty bottom too. I took to the Welsh hills on Sunday & its turning into a 3 tone colour scheme: fly splatter over sheep shit on a white base.

Re: Griso Picture Thread

Here's my new (to me) '07 Griso 1100. It shows up a couple pages back as well, as it was Dervish's. Traded him my '05 1200GS for it.

Nice, Congrats! Be sure to add it to the Registry on the top right tab of this page if you haven't already.

Also, did he paint (or ?) the frame rails black? They were only black from the factory on the 850's to the best of my knowledge.
