Oil pressure light comes on at Idle with hot oil!

I’ve grown to really enjoy this bike. It’s an expensive thing to learn on mechanically but worth it. Paid $3k for it. I own a Land Rover Discovery so leaks are customary. My rear main was actually my transmission front seal as I had stuck the breather hose on a plastic knob on the Airbox that had no hole in it. Pressurizing the gearbox when hot. Undid that and problem went away. Checked fluid levels afterwards and they were acceptable.

I still have an engine oil drip after riding from the belt cover area which is concerning but leaves a spot 1” under bike after it’s done. If I just accept the fact that it’s not 100% sealed, maybe my life will be easier.

North Virginia eh? Sounds like a pleasant trip down 15 to 270 to 495. But that sounds like a horrible trip on a motorcycle. Maybe in spring after I’ve ridden more.,
York, Pennsylvania to Cross Junction, Virginia (which is as near as dammit to West Virginia) would be a beautiful ride. No need to get on any Interstates or even any four lane roads.

Go visit the Moto Grappa. Would be a lovely day ride down and back.
