V7 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

Anyone know the story behind this seat? Looks stock but maybe custom shaping of the foam underneath?
Yes, stock seat that the foam has been trimmed down to lower the seat height.

Thanks.

I'm bought and am picking up a nice customized racer as soon as the snow melts (36" of snow today!). I'm a tad short and tippy toe it.

If I shape the foam and lessen it, won't the original fabric be incredibly stretched to fill the void of missing foam? Wouldn't cover start to wear or tear earlier? If not... that's great!

I guess I'm wondering if just ordering vinyl and recovering it might be the better way to go?

Who is a happy boy then!
Arrived at work yesterday . New Vll with 5km on it. I have been riding an auto Vespa for the last few years so i think i might do an Auto to Manual refresher course before getting too adventurous. Its been a long time since i have needed a clutch!

VIN # ZGULWUA16FM200308- Todd - Magnolia, TX V7 Purchased 2/25/17 from AF1 in Austin with just over 3K on the clock.

Nice addition to the stable, you can see the 2015 Aprilia Caponord in the background on my profile pic.

Already added a Dart Marlin flyscreen, other mods pending some more bonus $ rolling my way

New user just finished upgrading my new Stornello a bit. Riding season is just around the corner here in Norway
Congrats(!), and thanks for posting. Be sure to add your VIN# and related for the first post of this thread. Welcome to the GT Forum and Famiglia. Post often.

Never understood how someone buys a bike and only puts 2000 miles one it. I put 5K on my Caponord since Oct 16, and 700 on my V7 since 2/25/17. And I don't even regularly commute!

2016 V7 II Stone purchased 3/19/2017, second owner, 2080 miles

I put fewer miles on mine than almost anyone. ~1,400 after 24 months. I commute to work on it daily however. Issue is I work 2 miles from home. Weekends are filled with a variety of interests like running, tennis, golf, tandem bicycling, and I try to fit a ride on my V7 in there somewhere......we usually take it to tennis. :>
