• Ciao Guest, The owner of this website and GTMotoCycles.com lost his home completely on the evening of January 7th. Most of his neighborhood is gone, and a few lost their lives along with their pets. We ask your EXTREME patience through the rebuilding time. Most of the GTM STORE is functioning normally, but again we demand your patience on orders as we are a SMALL business and Todd usually has his hands on nearly every one. You can find a post in the USA section below for more info. Our hearts and best go out to everyone in this atrocious disaster.

V7 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

All I can say John is WOW, that a beauty! I want one and I want it now, and I'd enjoy the ride in SD. Ya got some great riding there in the Black Hills.

Paul

I agree, roadscum. I still want that blue Special badly even with my beloved Stornello. Well, I suppose it's just the beginning of my future collection. Lol!

And great mileage for 6 weeks. Keep on keeping on friend!

Six weeks old, 2500 miles. This is a great little motorcycle, no regrets.
Congrats John! Do I have your info for the first post of this thread(?) -- VIN#, etc if you can or direct email; Todd at GuzziTech.com

"I still want that blue Special badly even with my beloved Stornello. Well, I suppose it's just the beginning of my future collection." I hear ya loud and clear, Motorcycles are like $$$ and sex, ya can get too much!

Hey, that your bike up at Hamlin's shop on Saturday, right? I don't remember seeing you there?

Uhm.

You sure that's what you meant? :giggle:

Bill

P.S. As long as I am in this V7 thread, hoping to add a Stornello to Todd's list and my harem this or next week.

I had a Russell Day Long Saddle on my 1981 BMW R100RT. Ugliest saddle ever made but damn was it the most comfortable thing I ever sat on. I put 80k miles on that saddle. The new version on your bike looks a little more stylish but they still are not what anybody would call "pretty" saddles.

Nice bike!

Ooooop's, good eye's Bill!
At times my old fingers just don't keep up with my brain..... and it seems to be functioning slooooower each da. :sweating:

@scottmastrocinque Agreed but you don't have to look at it when you're sitting on it ; )

@GerryP Yes it was! I was not there though, had dropped it off and picked it up after hours.

@vagrant The Hagon Nitro's are definitely a good upgrade over stock, probably the most improved aspect is dampening, hitting frost heaves on the highway is not nearly as jarring as it was with the stock set up, and definitely holds the ground better in corners on sketchy pavement

Mine, on way back to Virginia yesterday afternoon from dealer in Accident (I'm not making that up! :giggle:), Maryland.

Could not ride (other than an ebullient victory lap around the Moto Grappa) last night when I got home, and can't today as just had a "procedure."

Hope to get in a short romp in tomorrow, but, as we are out of town 'til next weekend, may be a psychologically difficult period for a bit. [Bill whines pitiably, and looks for little sobbing violinist emoticon. ;) ]

Will post VIN, etc., Todd, soon.

Bill
