Diagnostics and service wrench resets (and possibly other items listed below) on the V7/V85TT/9 E4/5 models. This does NOT handle ECU mapping.

DiagScanTool

Possible Diagnostic Functions/Options:

Service Reset
Error memory Read and Delete
Key programming Assist
Injection system Unlock
Throttle valve Adjust / Adapt
Date and time setting, e.g. after battery replacement
Reset of the adaptation values
Specific actual / target values / live data
Read the current mileage
Chassis number Read
ABS pressure modulator / bleeding test from the ABS hydraulic system
Stepper adjustment

For E3/4 bikes with the 3-pin Diag connector, you cannot reset the Service icon via this plug. You must use the secondary cable provided and connect to the plug below under the right side battery side cover. I confirmed that it does work as of today, 4.5.24 as shown in the bottom photo.

If it will work on the V85TT (2021) to reset the service icon, I will buy one for sure. I already have capability to read diagnostic trouble codes.

From them this morning… Service reset possible for the V85 E4 and E5 and V7 and V9 using the same device.

I am still looking for a possibility to clear the maintenance light both on my V7 850 and a V85TT. Do you think this tool could cover multiple models?

Yes. Their words “Yes the service reset is possible for the V7, V9 and V85TT E4 and E5 using this device.”
I have shipped two units for testing, but only on a V85TT & V100. Yes the device will do multiple bikes noted above, meaning it does not lock onto one bike. As long as the bike uses the red tipped 6-pin plug, it should be good.
I have them online for purchase below.

I purchased one of the first units available from GTM. I had a chance to connect it to my 2021 V85TT Centenario today. There is more live data available on it than I could read with my Bluetooth OBDII interface and software on my computer. The instruction manual does not give much guidance in terms of setup and diagnostics, but I had no trouble getting it to communicate with the bike. The unit powers up when plugged into the diagnostic port even without turning on the ignition so you can do some of the setup such as select the model. There are a lot of models to scroll through, including several V85's. It has an icon for resetting the service indicator, but I cannot test that function until my "golden wrench" symbol in the dash turns on (if that happens 6000 miles after last reset, then I have about 850 miles of riding left). I am happy with the quality of both the unit and the connecting cable.

Edited to add: The storage case is also very nice. It does not come with a cable to connect to a computer for updates, but appears to be standard USB C.

OK, I've opened up online sales;
If i understand correct it will deal with the wrench icon on V85TT e4 and it comes with all the necessary cables.
Is this correct?
If yes i will move on to order.

Will this tool pair the OEM TPMS wheel sensors to the bike's computer?
