V9 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

Welcome and congratulations on your beautiful motorcycle! I love to hear from people who adore their Moto Guzzi motorcycles like I do.

I will always be a Guzzisti in this life and the next.

Like you, I've said it here many times that Enzo at Cadre Cycle, is a First Class gentleman and a great asset to the Moto Guzzi dealer network. I have nothing but great things to say about him as well.

Hello I bought this last year on 10-2-2021 from Cadre cycle In Cincinnati OH .They were kind enough to deliver this to my home 310 miles away. And delivered it for a small fee .I put the two person seat on that I got from Cadre Cycle and the rear rack on and the back rest pad and the Denali air horn. My wife and I love this bike. Of all the bikes I the bikes i have owed this is my favorite it a blast to ride and it runs great.I love it. VIN ZGULHU008HM000035. Enzo and his people at Cadre Cycle are great they go way beyond to make should you are happy I would whole heartily recommend them. You will not be sorry. But you will be very thankful you did they are wonderful . This is the first street bike i bought since 1984.This is a 2017 v9 Roamer. Thank You Scott Williams.
Congrats Scott, thanks for posting, and welcome to the GT Forum and Guzzi Famiglia. Enzo and Co. are good people.
Hope to see you here often.

i had to go back and look at the original post , I was sort of expecting to see more Big ticket items…
but it’s all reasonable bits…
The wheels alone were $3000. Then all the billet accessories were a few thousand, Pipes $1000, Seat $500, shocks $500, Luggage and mounting frames probably $2000, Mapping $500, Earth X battery $250, Navigation $250, Leather everywhere including the shock gaiters $500, Denali lights $500, Skid plate, V7 racer rear foot pegs, headlight guards turn signals and rear tail light kit another $1000 just to name a few.....I know this ridiculous, nobody needs any of it but.....that's me.

I'm Andrew in Los Angeles. I just bought this 2017 V9 Bobber (VIN# ZGULHU014HM000218) over the weekend and it's actually my first bike ever. Tested out an older Bonneville as well but preferred the Bobber. Thanks so much!
Congrats and welcome to the GT Forum & Guzzi Famiglia. Did you purchase it used? Private buyer or dealer?
If I can be of any help at my workshop in Orange, happy to;

We have had a few V7 & V9 rides pre-COVID, so perhaps we can kick them off again with a few new people that have surfaced here. We have a thread in this section, and one in the Regional section as well.

Hope to see you here posting often.

Thanks so much! I purchased it used from a dealer in Glendale - Pro Italia. Would love to get a ride together once I get some more time in the saddle. I'll definitely be posting!

Congratulations Andrew! Beautiful motorcycle indeed. Enjoy her.

I am 73, retired, living in Angels Camp, California. I started riding about around 1971. Suzukis. 350 twin, GT380 triple, GT550 triple, 250 dirt, all were 2 stroke. Then a GS650 4 cylinder shaft drive. Stopped riding for about 30 years. Last October I bought 1984 HONDA V4 Liquid Cooled Magna V30. I had it shipped from the Seattle area. Then decided to get something completely different. After reading about various makes and models, I settled on a 2017 Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer. I shortly found one I couldn’t walk away from. It had 2400 miles and over $5000 spent on accessories, came with a new battery and 13 months paid registration. And I could ride it home as it was less than 2 hours away.
Purchased August 2022

My Christmas present to myself: 2020 V9 Bobber stock except for short Mistrals and control panel cover. Have removed the rear seat for now but looking for a way to make this as comfortable for two up as it is for solo riding.

Check out my post V9 Bobber Backrest Quest - would love to get some opinions from fellow riders!

Cheers

Dan

Thanks Dan! Congrats and welcome to the GT Forum. Your first Guzzi?
Search and read a little... most questions have been answered at length already. If you can't find an answer, then post away.
Hope to see you here often! Cheers.

Hi Tig here I got a V9 bobber last September not had much chance to ride much yet, I'm from Swansea Wales UK
Hope you'll add your VIN# and a few pics for the first post of this thread. Enjoy/Cheers.

V9 Bobber bought new 2022 but it's a 2017. Now have over 10,000 miles. Only one issue so far: Ignition failed while driving down the road. Bike just quit running. Dealer picked it up and diagnosed whole ignition had failed. Took about 2 months to get the new one. And had to get two new keys programmed. Other than that it's been great. I drive it every day and have taken several 1000+ mile trips. Added Givi windshield, padded grips, Barkbuster hand shields (for cold wind on hands), luggage rack, engine guards, Hepco & Becker leather saddle bags and Corbin seat. Nice bike. It's my 22nd bike in 60 years.
