• NOTICE: Starting March 24, we've shifted to a mandatory user Account upgrade (donation) to post here. Once you've created an account, see the SITE SUPPORT section at the bottom on how to upgrade. This is to help try and cover site costs, and reduce redundant and argumentative posts. Search and read before staring a new thread, most topics are well covered here. We still require ONE post in the Intro section (bottom of the main Forum section list) to introduce yourself: NO QUESTIONS THERE - THEY WILL BE DELETED. Small $ donations via our link above will not be considered. Also to NOTE, the owner here lost his home in the LA Wildfire storm in January; See the USA section for more details. Your compassion, consideration and understanding on use of this site is expected. It's NOT a free social media platform - decades of time and money went into this site. We have a zero tolerance policy on attacks and anything NOT related to Guzzi motorbikes.

Wall of moronic shame...

He is saying so much more about himself than he is of you.......
Pretty sure he was the first person of the Reddit thread, all over some turn signals.
Above is for the Griso tail tidy kit, amidst my entire neighborhood burning to the ground.

OMG. 🤦‍♂️

Is it just me or do both of these lovely emails, read as being written by Australians?

If so, I am not the least bit surprised.

So the guy had to wait for 2 months and 10 days to receive a custom made part (fender elimination kit) for a 16+ year old Italian motorcycle but then gets the item which he really likes... Um, really?

FWIW: I have bought thousands and thousands of dollars of parts from vendors around the world and waited as long as 18 months for some to fulfill my orders. In fact, still waiting on one vendor still.

I am talking:

Stein-Dinse, MG Cycle, AF1 Racing, Harper's, Guzzibits, and yes, a whole lot from GTM and others.

Nothing from any of them, came instantly. It took a little bit of time, and sometimes it took quite some time, but they always came.

It seems like unnecessary rage on the part of Simon in my eye.

This Amazon.com syndrome affects so many people in truly twisted ways.

If you are reading this and just got into the Italian motorcycle game, learn this now and save yourself needless frustration and anger...

NOTHING IN ITALIAN MOTORCYCLE PARTS, MOVES INSTANTLY.

Don't believe me? Order anything from Italy in the last 10 days of July, all the way until September 3, and see just how long you will wait.

Italian motorcycles require patience as it is.

Given the fires and everything else in LA, the 2 month wait to receive the part, which he loved, didn't seem horrible. It's just not Amazon Prime 2 days BS.

How this warrants an internet meltdown and childlike temper tantrum is beyond me.

GTM -

You're beating yourself up over this.

Anyone who is still here already knows the kind of mail you receive from Internet tough guys sending from their moms' basement bedroom, and many of us have received the same sort of thing, so we don't need to be convinced.

And when you read these posts and take them to heart and memory by republishing or copying them, it just makes it worse for your peace of mind.

Delete them before you even read them like any other scam ..... Trust me, I'm an old man, BTDT!

Thanks, but I'm not. If you haven't personally lost your home and neighborhood to fire, you have no idea what I'm dealing with right now.
It's important, to me, to post a rebuttal to the rampant obnoxiousness, with all that I have going on right now. I’m doing my best and still getting kicked while I’m down. It’s a two way street, people should be publicly accountable for their words, as they publicly attack and slander me.
My small business has massively suffered starting with the Roper/Beetle Forum abuse, and freely continues to date. I've been called everything you can think of, and outside of a few dropped balls, I've continued to strive to do my best for all Guzzisti, both here, via my shop and online Store for two and a half decades. No one can comprehend what it's like to try and run a small business with a boutique brand in an Amazon world, down to legal threat by Piaggio for the website here, demanding I hand it over to them for free. That cost me thousands and thousands of $, with little help from anyone here.
My care is waning, as I'm starting in a new direction, and may or may not just pull the plug here. I'll keep GTM going short term, but I'll wind down all public facing portals soon also.
