Hi,
a little update from my work at my G12.
The swingarm is back in place, bearings okay, new grease into them.
The symetric headers from a Stelvio is made to fit onto my G12.
The oil cooler can be attached at the front, just waiting for a few banjo bolts for fitting the oil lines.
I saw a little problem at my rear shock
hmy: :
So I went to a suspension specialist, also with my front fork.
That damping cushon can be replaced by a new one.
The shockabsorber will be checked, cleaned, rebuild, damping checked and modified if
neccesary. Also a hydraulic preload will be attached to easy the change of spring settings.
Also the front fork will be checked, cleaned, rebuild and damping checked and modified if neccesary.
The springs will be changed by a progressive pair.
Here is my Griso "light"... :
Polishing the Stelvio headers is a hell of a job.
The surface is too coarse so I have to sanding them for some hours before polishing.
It's too expensive to bring them to a pro, around $300
The result after around 15 hours work...

Today i start at the left pipe...
Will be continued...
