Could not ride (other than an ebullient victory lap around the Moto Grappa) last night when I got home, and can't today as just had a "procedure." :cry:

Hope to get in a short romp in tomorrow, but, as we are out of town 'til next weekend, may be a psychologically difficult period for a bit. [Bill whines pitiably, and looks for little sobbing violinist emoticon. ;) ]

As threatened, here's that VIN: ZGULWUE08GM000212

FWIW, there is no apparent connection between VIN's and the coveted :giggle: "Limited Edition" numbering, e.g., my Stornello is# 443.

Cared originally, now could give a rodent's lowest orifice. :D

So, I picked up my new V7 III Special on Saturday. The clutch is as easy to pull as my old Honda 90 of 50 years ago! And yes, I also have arthritis in my hands as well as wrist issues. I had a Kawasaki Z650 with a slip assist clutch which was super light and this is equal to it. I rode it 130 miles home and love it, shifting is as noted in the article, you almost wonder if it really is going in gear, it is so fluid and smooth. I think the foot pegs are too wide, might be cutting them about an inch shorter, they grab my pants when putting leg down.

Well congrats(!), and though I pulled this post over from another thread, so I hope you'll add a pic or two and your VIN# and the rest for the first post of this thread.
 
one more pic of another recent purchase (much to the wife's chagrin :wasntme:). A cheap "saddlebag" option for Guzzi to hold warmer gloves, clear visor for goggles for nighttime, a few tools, etc...

I just went with a $30 Harley Fork Bag and fitted it to the side. 8" width bag with only 3" depth so it doesn't disturb spacing for my braking leg. Filled with items, my right calf does rest on it, but it doesn't interfere. I just wouldn't go past 3" depth or it might affect space for leg.

Love to see a personalized machine. With the skull and antlers, it looks like something out of a Will Graham nightmare.
