[GTM®]

This thread houses Q&A for the UpMap device. This is NOT our device, nor do we have any input on mapping or function. It CANNOT reset the Service wrench - that is dealer only for now.
Download the UpMap Quick Guide English Version HERE -- YouTube Video HERE or below. The data port is under the seat on most all bikes. On all E5 models, it's a 6-pin red connector with push-to-release plug cap.
It is BEST to have your mobile phone or tablet in WIFI mode and connected to the internet (or high-speed phone data), and be sure to have your Bluetooth enabled for this entire process. We recommend having your bike on a battery charger throughout this process. DO NOT RUN THE ENGINE AT ANY TIME UNTIL COMPLETE.

Our first hurdle that was a "Firmware Update" issue on Android (shown below), please see THIS LINK.

Good news Todd, I'm excited about this! I just ordered the unit, along with the SAS block off kit. I already have the GT Meg exhausts installed that I picked up from you guys a couple months back.

A few questions:

1. Have you tested the iPhone app yet? If so, anything odd like you saw on Android?
2. Does UpMap do a TPS reset, or what is the procedure for that after uploading the new map?
3. I assume that your map turns off the SAS and lambda sensors, is this the case?
4. What setup did you build your map for? Do you have a map for GT Meg plus SAS block?
5. Can you easily reload the stock tune if necessary? For example, if a warranty issue came up and I wanted to return the bike back to completely stock before taking in to avoid hassles.

Is this intended to replace the GTM flash tool? And if yes, does it work on the V7 III bikes?

It is not intended to replace it, no, though it is available for the older models. There really wouldn't be much reason to change it. In large, they both do the same thing.

***update. So I did it wrong the first time. I turn on the engine. Suppose to just turn to the second knob, not on lol I got the bike to sync with the UpMap 100%. However I cannot download the map, in the email it said I’m suppose to get a download code for a map but I cannot see it anywhere. Also, when i went on the UpMap store for a map, it only show the v85tt and you have to purchase. Please help

Todd, I have done the configuration, but see no maps from you anywhere. The device says to select map from their store but only thing there is maps for V85. Am I doing something wrong? So do me a favor as I am literally buried in emails... Please do not email every email address on the site and also post here. I field hundreds of emails/day, and simply cannot keep up. I will ONLY reply here on these matters for now.
UpMap told me what I posted. I have not had a minute to check for myself yet. I have put an inquiry in for tomorrow am.
They, along with most all other Italian companies, have been painfully slow to reply, even when it comes to paid products. Bear with me. I will post again here only when I have updated info from them.

I just checked. In the UpMap app, under the store, the only maps for Moto Guzzi are still the same 29 maps, all for V85 bikes. Someone else please check and tell us if you see anything different

Is this while you are BT-connected to the T800 device, while it's plugged in and keyed on?
