2022 V7 LeMans 850i - building it -

Man this going to be cool! The pictures of the LM looks longer for sure compared to the v7850. I think the blue is probably the best color for that bike with the brown seat. I wish I had the time or nutz to do what your doing!

Yes, I agree.... it is a very good blue!
I wanted the Special for the dual instrument cluster and the spoke wheels...! I did feel bad for a very short time that I killed the pretty blue paint but at the same time there a many other V7 in that color out there... so.. almost no harm done! Building a real one of one takes no prisoners.. whatever it takes...
I know many people think I use the wrong bike being a small block but Todd gets pretty good performance out of them and surly doesn’t have to hide from a big block 850! And I love the LM1 look❤️

Beautiful castings hidden in black...
I’m trying to have a”line” of bare aluminum parts to draw the eye front to back. Lower fork tubes polished as well B46F5872-AAE7-4FA4-A6FE-65A0754FFAFE.webp

One thing that I tell the polisher is that I do NOT want show or HD mirror quality! Just 3/4....
A nice clean aluminum look 👌

Todd got it running again using one of his fuel tanks.
He pulled one cylinder off to check if there is meat for a big bore kit... negative ☹️
Note : original MG clip-ons ... no mod on cables

One thing that I would like to point out is the lack of grease used on the driveshaft splines and swingarm pivot points...
I did read about it before but 🤬

Todd’s shop 3D printed the adapter for the turn signal to match the angle of the frame...
Pic shows holes drilled for turn signals and finally fork tubes dust covers in place!
Also Todd working on a 2 in 1 exhaust...

Rear set for pre 2021 model I bought .. different mounts on the frame.. large tubing, rubber bushings...

Stainless steel hat bushings for the shifter and brake lever, the original set up was just riding against the foot pegs and sitting on a stub on it41CA931C-9D95-45FA-B268-316F183BA6A7.webp

Threaded bushing inserts for the frame… (factory uses one 5 inch long bolt) Used polyurethane two fill the void around them and reduce vibration and movement 82052506-DE8B-4BC2-A7EB-6AB1F6333CC3.pngas the other end is connected to the factory rubber bushing on the inside. Hat section is 4 mm more than original to clear the shaft for the shifter protruding out of the frame191F1DE0-7CE7-4BE7-BA8C-032FC9667D5E.webp

V7 special headlight.. off center mounting points… Useless for The attachment of Le Mans I fairing...
I tried to use as many original Guzzi parts as I can... so I bought a MG cafe racer headlight from the Store on Todd’s website! Fits the original plug... perfect!
