Hey Griso fam!! First post here!
Proud owner of a 2013 Griso 8V SE. (VIN# ZGULSU023DM111914)

Got this bad boy a little over a year ago with just over 7k miles and an excellent price. Keeping it forever!! I love this machine!

-It already had a short slip on muffler. I believe it's from GTM. Sounds SO GOOD!
-Classic dark smoke Dart Flyscreen
-Rizoma bar end mirrors
-Removed evap canister
-Sitting on Pirelli Angel GT's
-Fender eliminator

Future stuff:
-GTM reflash
-Make it a solo seater (any input of a solo saddle for this one other than Corbin?)
-Probably a brown saddle and brown Biltwell grips
-May remove all decals. Saw one without them and man it looks so clean.

Yes, it does still have the stock lid. See bellow.
I think it never got the flash done and it's something I have on my to do list once I have the budget for it.
It's running pretty good though. It felt a little rough on the idle. Got that sorted out removing the evap can and tip-off valve.

Welcome, Neil.

If it's a 2011, unless a PO had it done, it is NOT rollerized, tho it may have a factory recall that tried to address that (and failed). I

If a dealer did that work, Piaggio "should" know and a dealer "should" be able to confirm.

But, it's Sunday, no dealer's open, and you can find out in minutes by simply popping a valve cover and taking a lok!

If you are an experienced wrench, that is a breeze, with the only caveat for someone new to (some) Guzzis) is the need to be deft in removing the sparkplug cable.

I am pretty sure there are several threads that address here in a database you need not beg a dealer to use.

I'd do that for you, but my spousal supervisor has just announced the day's plans; helping you more is not among those.

Hello GuzziTech!

2017 Griso 1200 8v SE bought used with 3,500 miles in December of 2020 (VIN ZGULSU029HM200523).

I love this bike. The engine is so charismatic and she's as enjoyable through a turn as anything I've been on.

The bike has had the ECU reflashed at GTM and one of Todd's exhausts installed. The flashed ECU was a big improvement. Looking to upgrade the suspension, brake pads, and possibly go down the PCV/AT route in the future.

There is a small amount of oil weeping out from around the cam breather/blow by flange mostly on the left cylinder. Looks like the previous owner or dealer put some kind of liquid gasket around the flange. The hose looks fine and I have swapped the OEM bolts with hex ones that are a little shorter so that I can torque them down better but there is still some seepage. Will try to add some thread sealant to the bolts next and possibly redo the liquid gasket with some Permatex Ultra Black. Anyone had luck eliminating this supposedly common issue?

Dzięki Luca, informacje zaktualizowane w pierwszym poście i gratulacje dla G8V Tenni. Myślę, że na długo pozostaną one jednymi z najbardziej pożądanych.

Teraz już ma nowego właściciela , który ogarnął go i pomógł wylizać rany gdy został porzucony w kanadyjskim rowie i krzakach, dostał drugie życie i myślę że odwdzięczy się chociaż trochę... Dobrym zachowaniem przez lata przebyte razem. Pozdrawiamy serdecznie z dalekiej Polski
