Next SoCal V7/9 Ride - Where to and when?

I'm in. Need to be home before dark - ish. Coming from Simi Valley.
Looks like you’re the pivoting vote. Malibu Hills or Azusa?
p.s. Though Malibu does have it's Cars & Coffee tomorrow at both the Bluffs Park/Pepperdine and Trancas.

Looking like this has fizzled. Have fun guys. Chris, I’ll be working on your S4RS tomorrow, so not wasted for me.

That’s a good consolation prize!! :)

I just got back from a run to Wrightwood. (La Cañada -> ACH -> Wrightwood... and back.) Beautiful ride!!!!! Almost had the road to myself, and the few cars I did encounter were courteous and rode or pulled to the side.

It was COLD up there. But absolutely perfect once you dropped below where the 2 meets the 39.

Anyway, thanks Todd! I appreciate it.

If this ride didn’t end up going. I was going to hit up Deus for coffee, and then take the PCH to iron and resin in Ventura.

Sounds like there are only 4 of us still interested?

It doesn’t matter to me. I could always break off if we are at a point that people wanted to keep going.

OK, picking this up again... as it looks like it may be an annual ride thing. For those small block riders watching this, dates and where to? Those posting and committed will control the ride location.

Is there the monthly meet at the Rock Store next Sunday?
Missed this... I could've popped over had I not. The group has kind of fizzled there, so unless someone asks via direct email, I generally pop in late day.

Meow

I used to have a colleague who meowed whenever he was frustrated or disappointed.
Cringe-worthy. Yes? LOL
(I wonder what happened to that guy....)

In this case used in the analogy of herding cats ;)
Frankly, I'm proud that Guzzistas are the type that won't be herded!
Maybe that's why I love this bike so much.

Nah. I love it because of what it is.

But back to the point - Anyone up for reviving this congregation and embarking on a ride?

I'll suggest Crystal Lake and Mt. Baldy / Ridge Route.
Azusa -> 39 to Crystal Lake -> back down 39 to Glendora Ridge Route -> Mount Baldy -> back along the Glendora Ridge Route (because it's that good) -> Glendora Mnt Rd. -> Glendora.

Eats at the Mt. Baldy Lodge. Several places to cut out if the full length route is too long (e.g. 39 b/f Ridge Route or Mt Baldy Rd to Claremont after 1st pass of Ridge Route).

Any of the upcoming weekends are possibilities - Saturday or Sunday
Since people work better with dates, that includes: 5/5-6, 5/12-13, 5/19-20, 5/26/27, even 6/2-3

Open to other possible routes!

So it's looking like what? 5/19/18 @ the Rock Store? Caffeine junkies meet at Malibu Coffee Bean @ 8:30, then Rock Store @ 9. KSU 10:30 from Rock Store for some seat time and 'round lunch time peace out or go eat somewhere?
