V100 Mods thread

I wish ❗❗❗
Rear hugger is useless, mud etc sprays up on your left leg and back 🤬
We don’t all live in sunny Italy ☹️☹️
Wish someone could design a practical rear hugger 🙏
Dave ….on the superior Red one 🤣🤣IMG_0155.webp

Well…stay away from the dirt roads then 😂😉
Nah, I would also invest in a aftermarket rear hugger

Wouldn't we all. Doesn't look as if it's a straightforward thing to create as none of the usual suspects have come up with anything.

How much taller than stock do you think this screen is? And where did you get it? (I'm also in the Bay Area)

I have the Biondi medium screen and wish I'd gone bigger. I'm used to more wind protection.
I got it from TourAndRide - tourandride.com/products/d8207st-specific-screen-transparent
I can measure it once I have a moment, but i suspect its roughly twice the size of the original screen. if you are local, you are welcome to come and check it out. i'm in the peninsula.

Guys, I chase so many of these daily here it's exhausting. Everyone using this site MUST read the scrolling paragraphs at the top of every page. I've highlighted the second one below to all new users here.

Hi all , just a short post about handlebar risers . Was feeling a bit of a stretch after couple of hours riding . Invested in theses risers . Not mentioning name ad per rules , do your own research . Feel good , 1 inch rise , inch and eighth back .

Hey guys, the sheepskin is a sheepskin from Alaska Sheepskin. In lieu of ordering on line I called them spoke with an extremely nice lady who said "send me a picture of the bike". She in return sent me a picture of some sheepskins and I said "the brown is perfect send it". If memory serves me correctly she had several natural colors such as nearly black, gray, and a multicolored.

Installed a set of Rizoma reverse retro mirrors;
The shorter Rizoma bar-ends that fit these mirrors leave a big gap between it and the handgrip, and the OEM bars have a very proud bar insert.
So I picked up a set of these and just used the recessed collars to act as a spacer with the Rizoma ends.

Guess what troops….. totally agree. Orange and red just don’t go together 👍😁
So had mine wrapped…
Nicely balanced color scheme with red pannier top and gold replacing the orange gills 👍

Have to say I've considered having the orange changed to the same green as the bike. @viewpoint - can I ask where you got yours done as you are in my neck of the woods?

Hi, Thanks for the compliments 👍
Had it done in Pershore.
Man and wife team. Lovely couple.
Tell them I sent you .
My panniers were also wrapped 👍

That's a really slick idea to replace the orange accents with gold that matches the gold on the rest of the bike. I wish MG had picked a different Aero accenr color for each color of the Mandello, because the orange just doesn't go with all the colors. The Mandello looks best in red/gold, LeMans style, imho. 🤗
