I'd like to turn my Cali into a tourer or cafe racer but second hand parts seem almost impossible to find here in Australia.

The Guz and the ugly step sisterNice day for a rideView attachment 33236
I have a very similar history when it comes to riding in the rain, a number of friends gave up riding with me for that reason. Also known as the drought buster, friends thought they could have a lucrative business renting me out to farmers, all it would take is one ride by from me.Hi Motobazzi , like you we've been to Tassie three time now on the bike, the trip last week saw us do close on 3500k's on the Isle , the bulk of which weren't on roads we've done before.
In terms of rain , its a given every time the wife & I go away it rains.. Hence my mates call me "the storm chaser", or "drought buster".. next planned weekend away is ANZAC weekend on the MGCoV ( Moto Guzzi Club of Victoria) ride to Corryong . If your planning to come along , bring your wet weather gear
Cheers mate.Andrew2 , if you make it to the Corryong weekend don't forget I owe you a beer.
Great trip Steve, I'm familiar with those roads and your choice of stopsA few mates and I went for a little trip today starting at Batemans Bay heading south to Narooma for a coffee stop then to the Tathra pub, via the Bermagui -Tathra road, for lunch. After lunch we headed to the Dromedary hotel in Tilba for a quick beverage then back home to Batemans Bay.
I didn't get a shot of the bikes at the Tathra pub (apart from on the rear carpark ) as the parking spots out the front were all taken. I got one at the Dromedary hotel, which is a grouse little pub.
