V100 Mods thread

What site has the tank protectors. I really like the one that would work for gray, I know we can't post links but if I could please have the name of the site?

As Jan said, but it’s actually resin4bike in Italy, and they are also happy to accept offers. I’ve used them for the protectors and the like fitted to my V100, my V7 and Africa Twin.

Thanks for the lead.

For those in the USA search Resin Bike on Jeff Bezos money maker, then go to the Resin Bike store therein. I found a nice looking one for the Navale.

When you get a brand-new motorcycle like my Moto Guzzi Mandello V100, it's often seen as a nearly perfect machine. However, as I've spent time with it, I've come to realize that there's room for improvement when it leaves the factory.

I absolutely love my Moto Guzzi Mandello V100. The power, the design, and the sense of freedom it provides are simply exhilarating. Yet, owning a motorcycle tends to bring out a desire for perfection. It's not just a mode of transportation; it's an opportunity for personalization.

When I first brought my Moto Guzzi Mandello V100 home, it was an impressive sight. The sleek lines, the vibrant color, and the sound of the engine made my heart race with excitement. But that's when I started to notice areas where it felt incomplete. It's not about flaws, but rather the opportunity for enhancements.

I decided to make a few modifications to make my Moto Guzzi Mandello V100 truly unique. Firstly, I added discreet plugs to hide bolts throughout the bike. This gave it a cleaner and more polished appearance.

To protect my bike and give it a distinctive look, I added a custom cover for the catalytic converter. This not only serves a functional purpose but also complements the bike's aesthetics.

Safety and functionality are equally important, so I also installed a sturdy radiator guard. It not only protects the radiator from debris and potential damage but also adds a rugged, adventurous vibe to the overall look.

My Moto Guzzi Mandello V100 is still a work in progress, and I appreciate that. It's a reflection of my passion for motorcycles and the desire to make it uniquely mine. The road ahead is long, and I look forward to the journey, both in terms of miles and self-discovery.

So, here's to all the motorcycle enthusiasts out there who feel the same way. Let's embrace the idea that our motorcycles are canvases waiting for us to create something truly exceptional.

Colder weather creeping in so added givi handguards at the weekend. I like the way they matched the texture of the plastic to those on the bike like the plug covers.

They are not a heavy duty item, but it’s not an adventure bike 🙂 just to keep the rain and windchill away. Can also fit my hippo hands over them for when it’s really cold.

Hi folks, having a hard time trying to obtain correct paint code for rosso magma .
So I can have the panels painted on the panniers. More fetching than the silver 🤣❗
Any help , thanks.
Dave …. On the above 😁😁

Unfortunately Moto Guzzi has never published their paint codes ever.

You have to take an existing painted piece (I suggest the front fender) to a paint supplier with a computer color matcher. They will be able to scan the color and duplicate it.

This is current state of mods/additions to my V100
1. Givi Maxia5 topcase with M5 plate and frame.
2. Original engine guards with my custom 3d printed protectors.
3. Windscreen deflector
4. Custom aliexpress handguards adapted from bmw r 1200 gs.
5. Aliexpress radiator guard
6. Tank protection from clear PPF film

Hi , where can I purchase the cat cover in the Uk ?
Dave …. On the red one 😁
You’re on a website that is a sister to our main site that has an online Store (link above). Per the scrolling paragraphs at the top of every page, we can get most anything, and we ship worldwide daily. Purchases help support this site. ;)
Hyperlinks NOT welcome here to products we can get and sell. Otherwise Google will answer your question.

Always try a search, see below. We are awaiting their new version that also fits the center stand.

Hi Paul B

I have the same bike. First I tried a Puig lip spoiler on the factory windscreen but it did not do much for the turbulence, even after trying several positions and heights. Then I tried the standard Powerbronze (super easy installation) but it did not do the trick. Finally I put the lip spoiler on the Powerbronze and the results were great. I am 5',8" with a 30" inseam.

I wish you good luck finding a solution.
