Planning on a gravel ride today, got the Guzzi out, turned on the ignition, both indicators started flashing, CAN BUS Off showed in instrument display, smoke started coming out of left switch block with a strong burning electrical smell. Visited my Guz dealer, new switch block has arrived, hopefully will fit it next week.

It's nice to be able to ride all year round in Aus.Just got caught up on this thread with my morning coffee, start to finish.
What a different riding world it must be Down Under.

Interesting map overlay below. I think you’d find the USA to be very similar in landscapes, though inverted.I’ve only driven through California/nevada but compared to Australia, the US has similar wide open spaces. Australia is much more spread out once you leave the east coast though. Mostly huge farms, towns much further apart.
